- 1 grapefruit
- 2 tsp sugar/xylitol (you can use agave or maple syrup – stir into water until it dissolves)
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1⁄2 tsp turmeric
- 1⁄2 cup water
- Juice the grapefruit (sieving the pulp if a smooth consistency is preferred) .
- Add ½ a cup of water.
- Add the remaining ingredients and using a food processor blend all the ingredients for about 1 minute or until smooth.
- Tastes best when served immediately.
