Ingredients
Dry

all purpose flour

– 220 g
brown/raw sugar

salt

baking powder
Wet

canola oil or vegetable shortening
1–2
tsp
vanilla

ripe bananas
Optional
Chocolate chips or walnuts
Instructions
Mix all dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
Mash bananas in the loaf pan (8 x 4 in) and add the wet ingredients.
Add the dry ingredients in small quantities to the loaf pan which contains the wet ingredients and stir well.
Add any optional items once the batter is ready and stir.
Preheat the oven to 165 °C / 325 °F and bake for approximately 60 minutes.
Once baked, let it cool down on a dry rack.
Serve warm with a hot beverage of your choice!
